L'un des livres de Henri Bernard, où il rend hommage à Ernst Niekisch, le premier à avoir résisté à Hitler et l'inventeur du terme "Résistance" (Widerstand).
"En 1927, Ernest Niekisch, plus tard voué au martyre, fonde le journal antihitlérien , Der Widerstand, première apparition du terme abstrait La Résistance", écrit le grand résistant belge Henri BERTRAND.
Le jugement est important car le professeur BERTRAND fut un des leaders de la Résistance belge, historien émérite de la Résistance européenne, il enseignait aussi à l’Académie militaire belge. Bien loin des lâches universitaires français qui ont régulièrement sali Niekisch dans leurs écrits malveillants (eux n’ont jamais résisté à rien, surtout pas aux honneurs faciles et aux prébendes).

The ruling is significant because Professor Bertrand was a leader of the Belgian Resistance, historian emeritus of the European resistance, he also taught at the Military Academy of Belgium. Far from the cowardly of French academics who regularly soiled Niekisch with their malicious messages (they have never resist for anything, especially not easy honors and perks).
